How activity is counted

Local personal projects contribute authored, non-merge commits that change source code, configuration or engineering documentation. Author identities are verified locally. Duplicate worktrees and identical commit SHAs are counted once; upstream authors, binary-only changes, generated outputs, datasets and manuscript content are excluded. Public commits from the selected repositories and featured contributions supplement this history without double counting.

An active personal project has qualifying commits in the last 30 UTC days and is not marked paused. Employer and client work is excluded. Uncommitted changes are not counted. Private project names, file paths, commit messages and identities are never published. Commit counts describe recorded activity, not hours worked or impact.
